14th Annual Hopedale Winter Stroll

14th Annual Hopedale Winter Stroll

On December 6th, members of the Franklin Odd Fellows beat the chill to enjoy the annual Hopedale Winter Stroll. The Milford Masons and our group each had separate fire pits and were located at the Draper Gymnasium which is just across the street from the Hopedale Community House. The weather, at first, was cold and damp with drizzling rain, but we built our fire, put up the tent and made ourselves comfortable.  The gymnasium was packed with arts and crafts and, of course, my favorite – penuchi and chocolate fudge. We had great live music for 3 hours from David Penza playing guitar and singing all your favorite tunes.

Pictured sitting down from left to right is Dave Labonte, Greg Mullen, Liza Battista and Rob Knospins. The Town of Hopedale supplies firewood for this event and we very much enjoyed the day and the friendly residents of Hopedale.  We will continue to support this annual event as long as they will have us as their guests.
