Wednesday, 11/05/2008 -- Meeting with the President of the Grand Trunk Trailblazers to establish our lodge as their initial liason, non-profit organization to the Town of Franklin and the vast amount of resources that will surely need to be called upon to make the Super Bike Trail a sucess. Tuesday, 10/21/2008 -- A representative of William F. Ray Lodge #71 participated at a public forum of the Grand Trunk Trailblazers in North Grosvenordale, CT. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to connect six separate rail trails into a non-motorized, 60-80 mile East-West bike and equestrian path connecting the Blackstone Valley in Franklin to the Pioneer Valley in Palmer.
Sunday, 9/21/2008 - - 12th Annual Boston Arthritis Walk at Boston's Prudential Center with Opening Ceremonies starting at 10:45am.
Sunday, 9/14/2008 - - 8th Annual Central Massachusetts Arthritis Walk-Run at Bancroft School in Worcester, MA; Registration begins at 10:30am and the walk begins at 12 noon.
6/22/2008 - - William F. Ray Lodge #71 will be entering at least one team in the Second Annual Adirandack Club Charity Triathalon to benefit the Random Smile Project, a locally based charity. See the Random Smile website for fundraiser details. A cookout will be held afterwards for all participants and volunteers. Members not participating may assist with the running of the event. $65/individual $125/team 100% of all funds collected will be given to Random Smile. A GOOD LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT!
6/16/2008 - - 20th Annual Odd Fellows Golf Tournament to be held at the Pine Crest Country Club, 212 Prentice St., Holliston, MA 01746. Charity is the Arthritis Foundation. Registration at 7:00 AM. Entry Fee is $135.00.
6/13,14/2008 - - Night Before Banquet and Grand Lodge Session in Milford. All Past Grands to attend.
05/21/2008 - - Regular lodge meeting at hall at 7:00 PM and alternate date for Masons if they cannot make the 7th.
05/07/2008 - - Invitation to Excelsior Masonic Lodge in Franklin to join us at our regular lodge meeting at lodge hall. Regular meeting start time at 7:00 PM and greet our guest at 7:45 PM.
05/04/2008 - - Metrowest Arthritis Foundation Fundraiser Walk-Run in the town of Natick, MA, Town Common.
05/04/2008 - - South Shore Arthritis Walk-Run in downtown Plymouth.
